Shipping policy

CARRIERS

Please note that we do not offer a winding service for our skeins. This is a paid service.

Flat-rate shipping:
Sweaters and Cardigans offers flat-rate shipping for international orders. It is at our discretion to ship orders at the price closest to the flat rate, whether with UPS or Colissimo (La Poste). Shipping times vary between Colissimo and UPS. UPS can arrive in 3 to 5 days, and Colissimo can take up to 3 weeks.
Countries where we do not offer flat-rate international shipping are Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Shipping with Colissimo Home or Pick-up Point:

If your order is shipped by Colissimo, or you choose Colissimo (Home or Pick-up Point) and you have not collected your package, it will be returned to us. We will contact you once we receive it.
In the event of an undelivered, damaged, or lost package, the customer must file a claim with Colissimo to obtain a full refund.
A claim filed by Chandails et Cardigans is not mandatory or automatic and will only cover 70% of the amount of the lost merchandise, whereas it will cover 100% if filed by the customer.

If a package is returned/refused without a tracking number and without our email confirmation, additional fees will be deducted from the refund.

SHIPPING TIMES (see below)

All orders are shipped within 5 to 7 business days of confirmation. Our shipping days are Monday to Friday, excluding holidays and closures.

During our promotional periods, we require 14 to 21 business days (weekends and holidays not included) to prepare and ship orders due to the high volume of orders. If you would like to know where your order is in the queue, please email us at tricotsetcardigans@gmail.com.

Once your package has been shipped and picked up by the carrier, the carrier is no longer responsible for Chandails et Cardigans and is the customer's responsibility.

CUSTOMS/DUTY FEES

Chandails et Cardigans is located in France/European Union (EU). All orders placed outside the EU are subject to customs fees based on the shipping address provided at the time of purchase. Each country/state has its own regulations and tariffs for items imported from the EU. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of any potential customs fees at the time of purchase.

You are responsible for all shipping costs assessed for taxes, tariffs, and duties, as well as any associated brokerage fees. If you are ordering internationally, please be aware of import charges (tax/tariff/fees/brokerage fees) for receiving an order from France. We declare all shipments at the full purchase value. There are minimum thresholds below which you cannot be charged a tariff. In the case of the United States, starting March 24, 2025, orders under USD 800 should be exempt from tariff/customs fees (in the US, this threshold is known as "de minimis"). However, these minimum thresholds are subject to change without notice. Please check the tariff/duty threshold for your country before placing your order.

Please note that refusing to pay customs fees will ensure that the order is returned to us, at our expense. If you wish to receive a refund for a refused order, the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

SHIPPING PRE-ORDER ITEMS

When an item is listed as "Pre-Order," it will not ship immediately; the release date will be indicated on the product page. Regardless of the purchase date, all pre-order items will ship on the release date. If you placed an order with other items, those items will ship at the same time as the pre-ordered item.
