Construction details(s)

The tutorial can be followed either row by row or diagram by choice.

SEAMLESS (from top to bottom and back):

The Amazonie cardigan is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch with a decorative pattern near the buttonband. It uses two fine mohair and silk yarns. The neckband is worked first, then stitches are picked up to form raglans and shape the shoulders. The sleeves are knitted separately with a slightly balloon shape and decorative ribbing at the cuffs. Two buttonbands are added to the body, with an optional crochet trim.

Alternative wools

The Amazonie Cardigan is knitted with two strands of LACE yarn held together (or one strand of FINGERING and one strand of LACE).
