The tutorial can only be followed using explanations and charts (either part by part or in full A2 format for print and tablet). So asks to be able to read lace charts. With in addition the videos available on my YouTube channel (links in the tab below).

I have a chest circumference of 83 cm and I wear a size 2 with 4 cm of positive ease. I work 30 cm of body. I use the MERICOTA thread in the Dune color way.

    Construction details(s)

SEAMLESS (from top to bottom in the round):

The SHANTALA Top is knitted using a FINGERING yarn. Ideally in a blend of merino and linen, cotton or bamboo. The top is made entirely of lace except for the sides under the st st CO sleeves. You will start by going up the stitches on the back, knit the left and right back using interlayer increases in place and back and forth and you will form a slot at the back to put over the head, then they will be joined. You will work straight through, forming the armholes using an interlayer augment. Once the back is finished, it will be put on hold. You will raise stitches one by one for each shoulder to make the front, while incorporating increases for the neckline. You will pursue the front up to the armholes where you will increase, and directly join the back to each front to continue in circles all the way down the body, which will be a strip of fancy lace with a festoon. You will pick up stitches around the armholes to form a strip of fancy lace with short rows under the arm for ease, then continue with the festoon. Finally, you will pick up stitches along the neckline and work on the fancy band back and forth. Finally, a hook clamp will be made on this band for the tail button.
